Mushrooms can be grown in old buildings that are often no longer usable for other purposes. They grow regardless of the season and on residues from forestry or agriculture, which are upcycled in this way.  <\/p><\/div><div>Sebastian and his wife Lisa then founded the company &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/stoffn.at\">Stoff&#8217;n<\/a>&#8221; and began to grow organic mushrooms for regional gastronomy on their parents&#8217; &#8220;Stoffenbauernhof&#8221;. The basic mushroom cultivation methods of today&#8217;s medicinal mushroom production are developed and the most promising mushroom strains are tested. Sebastian and Lisa begin to pass on their knowledge of mushroom cultivation in courses and guided tours on site. And where can the appropriate knowledge be found?   <\/p><p>Not an easy undertaking. Together with experts, Sebastian began to read up on traditional Chinese writings on medicinal mushrooms and current scientific literature to find the most effective preparation and extraction methods for medicinal mushrooms. After countless more or less successful attempts on our own, we were lucky enough to meet enthusiastic pharmacists and doctors who supported us on our way with their proven knowledge.
